Hello beauties! I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend. I'm doing my usual - sitting at home watching Netflix. I actually saw American Sniper last night and there are so many things that I love about the movie. #1 because I am proud to be an American and I will always support those who risk their lives for our freedom each and every day. I couldn't even fathom fighting over seas, I'm so happy with my sheltered life here ( well unless I was in The Hunger Games - i'm definitely a survivor). The movie really just showed how our freedom come at a price, and how we need to be grateful for the opportunities we are blessed with in our country. I think it also brought in to perspective how tormented the minds of our militants can be after returning home from war. I'm really sensitive to ANY type of brain injuries (both physician and emotional) because I have seen how it can effect someone first-hand. The fact that awareness is spreading about the seriousness of PTSD makes my heart happy. Because the more aware our nation is of it, then the better care we can provide for our heroes. If you are interested in donating I put a link to The Wounded Warrior Project - (here). Any donation helps take care of our soldiers!
As for my outfit I kept it super casual and doubled up on some denim. I'll tell you one thing.....it is HARD to find a good one of these chambray tops. I have ones that have been too thick, too thin, weird color, too short, etc. But, this one here is such a good fit! And guess what? It is from Old Navy for only $16. How affordable is that? Also, when did Old Navy step up their jean game so much? Have any of you guys worn their jeans lately? They are definitely a great buy, especially for my bargain shoppers. Enjoy!
