Over the past couple years of blogging I have gotten to work with some of the most talented women around, in hair, makeup, photography, you name it! And I am so thankful for each opportunity to collaborate. This past weekend I had the sweetest girl ever, Kristen, reach out to me to do a desert photoshoot. Now normally it's weird to meet people you don't know out in the middle of the desert, and I don't recommend it.....but we were in the same blogging group where I was able to check her and her work out, and therefore was able to deem it safe haha. First I just want to talk about the sunset. OH. MY. WORD. it was honestly one of the most incredible sunsets I have seen. On one side the sky was painted hot pink and orange, and the other cotton candy pink, blue, and purple! Which this post you can see the cotton candy colors, and my next post will show the hot pink and orange! As for my outfit, my dress is a couple years old, but still one of my favorites of all time - I've linked almost identical ones below. It actually has a complete open back, which is perfect for summer, but since it is winter I threw on an embroidered jacket from Forever 21. Which if you follow along with my blog then you know that is where I mainly shop! Honestly, I would rather wear multiple cheap pieces, then the same super expensive piece. I have also had a major crush on anything embriodered at the moment. Personally, I will never be able to afford a $5,000 Gucci or Dolce and Gabbana jacket, so my $45 knock off one does just fine....can I even really call it a knock off? haha. Anyways, I linked everything below. Enjoy!
