The weather has been so awesome in Arizona for the past week, it will be sunny, then rainy, then windy, and even all at the same time! I have always loved monsoon season. The haboobs are something so unique to Arizona and so awesome to watch! (if you don't know what a haboob is then look it up on google -- well worth looking up). It is crazy to me that kids are already in school again and that summer is pretty much over. Which basically leaves us dressing for the in-between seasons. I am going to show you what kind of versatile pieces to look for when you go shopping. Of course all of the short shorts and itty bitty tank tops are going to be going on sale for super cheap, but wouldn't you rather shop for affordable pieces that you will actually be able to wear during the next few months?

So first things first, let's talk jeans.....I am a huge fan of Deb Shops jeans. And I mean huge fan. I know that cheap jeans have a bad rep for not lasting that long, or not fitting to your body very well, etc. But let me be the first to tell you that for $15-$30 their jeans are the most comfortable, well made jeans ever. If you decide to buy from them, shop the YMI jeans.....they have buttock enhancing features! haha. Plus, even if you have curves they don't have a waist gap and actually stay up around your waist. Reign Denim is also super comfy because of how much stretch they have to them. My only problem with reign is that the waist is really stretchy, so they tend to show more if you bend over, but if you wear a belt that should stop that problem.

I love this top from Styles For Less because it can be worn both in warmer and cooler weather. It layers nicely or has just enough details to stand out on it's own. I wore it below two ways : The first I kept the outfit simple but focused on the little details, like my sandals and necklace. The sandals are lined with gold (on sale in-stores at Kohls for $9), which I matched with the tan and gold chain on my Michael Kors bag. The necklace is from Ettika, who by the way has the cutest jewelry that focuses on all styles of dress ( edgy, boho, classy, vintage, neons, southern, etc). So if you already have your personal style down, then they make shopping easier by narrowing the jewelry down by themes. The other way I wore this, I simply added a cardigan and switched out my sandals for some flats.....now how easy of a transition is that?? So when you are shopping, keep an eye out for pieces that can both be worn on their own, but also layer nicely.
